I have no idea if I've posted in the right forum section....
I'm planning a birthday party for my husband (not a surprise). It's scheduled for after Shabbos. I will be serving some light food, snacks and drinks. Since it's after shabbos, it will be fleishig.
I need help setting a menu.
I've already decided that I will be serving Cohen's hors d'oeuvres (ie. Hot dogs in a blanket, small bourekas, mini egg rolls, etc.), as well as chips, raw veggies and hummus/babaganoush dip.
Can you help me think of some other stuff that I can prepare in advance and quickly defrost and plate before the party?
Here are some parameters:
*Nothing too difficult or too time consuming
*Stuff that can easily be eaten standing or on a small plate, without cutlery….although a small meatball that can be eaten with a fork or toothpick is fine
Can you ladies suggest some good recipes of things I can make?
Thanks so much for your help!!
