Where can I buy really nice, upscale or designer but NOT clingy maternity clothes? Something suitable for a professional in a very high-class place? Right now, I shop mostly at Nordstrom's Bloomingdales and Saks. I can't find anything! The malls mostly have Motherhood and the clothes aren't nice enough for my job. "My" stores only have online maternity clothes and I don't like shopping online.
I could get in to BP or flatbush if I had to ( I live in Lakewood) - any suggestions for stores? I do NOT like today's trends of wearing very tight, formfitting stuff, but I also like to dress fairly trendy and upper class for work.
thanks to all who have suggestions

There are lots of brands to check- Olian & Maternal America are a few that come to mind. Not too many skirts, but lots of nice tops and sweaters. Actually, you should go to a bookstore & pick up a few pregnancy mags. Note the brands on the clothes they show. Google them & check out their websites to see if there is anything tznius. You can also try maternityandrobes.com and prettymematernity.com. They have some nice skirts.

For work clothing, I've had luck at Future Mom in Boro Park and Maternichic on Coney Island Ave and Ave J. I have also found some not-too-tight clothing at Motherhood, though it was more casual. Some of the tops I'd seen on Nordstrom's sight were carried by Maternichic. I'm sure you can find stuff in the 'frum' Lakewood stores. I also had luck finding non-maternity things that worked very well, but that takes more time and looking.

I think that Mylo Dweck is super chic, trendy and cool, but not at all "upscale"!!!

I would recommend the brand Ran Designers, and I've found stuff at Generations in Borough Park. Good luck and bsha'ah tova!

OP here - thanks for the tips. Mylo Dweck's site has some cute stuff - but I'm not a size 2 esp. not when pregnant (I'm a size 10) but I forgot about generations. Thanks - that's a great suggestion, they will probably have stuff that will fit in at my work place (though they are also going to have stuff that looks very "Boro Park Chumash teacher whose Daddy has money")
Does anyone know if Milo Dweck carries larger sizes (I think it's pathetic that size 10 is "larger sizes" but that's a topic for another post....sigh...)
I'm just going to have to go a little accessories crazy until I can shop at Saks and Nordstrom's again.
Thanks for the good wishes, everyone.

OP I also am in a more professional settings and the stuff from Mylo Dweck, while cute and all, is not what I am looking for AT ALL.
most of my maternity wardrobe came from Saks.COM not the Saks store - their selection online is much better than anything in a store. I found some empire type shirts (the ones that are flowy under your breasts I forgot what that style is called) at Saks and Neimans from Tahari, Jil Sander, and Max Mara, those designers worked really well for my prego body. But for skirts I did pretty well online. I also was not so big, so I bought tons of stuff in bigger sizes.
Pea in the pod I got lots of really nice casual stuff, sweaters, black skirts (diane von furstenberg black skirt that I LIVED in), etc.
I really shied away from alot of the BP stores like generations because the stuff to me looked either very yeshivish and boxy, or was fake velour jumpsuit/robe type outfits and those gross me out.
I spent alot of $ on my maternity "wardrobe" because I plan on using it for all my pregnancies! when I bought stuff a few yrs back with my first, I folded everything and stored it away really nicely, and it has lasted me B"H through two more pregnancies, the only items I have "added" are a couple of long sleeved gap shirts since those get gross from washing them too many times. So yes I spent alot of money, but the clothes last really well.
