Why do you think they're planning on ending it already?

She defended Eli when Dina said he couldn’t see their mother which is way more than he ever did for her.
It’s time she’s a bit self centered, not a single Beckman including her husband seem to care about her at all.

In my opinion this has gone far enough. Esti finally spoke up realizing Mimi is a two faced person, Dina as said is a narcissist and Eli is a big wimp never once defending and standing up for his wife. He did not call to inform her how his mother is after she drove him to the hospital. He deserves what he gets and hopefully the mother will get better and get a backbone. WHAT A FAMILY.

When they want to end a serial is When something actually happens every week not every three weeks something small happens l(example week one chany stops at a red light week two chany ponders the red light week three she continues pondering week four the light changes week five she puts her foot on the gas pedal week six she presses down week seven she drives till her destination goes into the store and then goes home. The end)

The only character who has actually evolved is Esti. She went from being an abused doormat of a wife to a strong confident woman who sticks up for herself.
Good for her!
The rest of the characters are all spinning in circles.

I don’t think the Ami would allow a serial ending in. Divorce… if crossroads didn’t end in a divorce I doubt this will

Agreed, they won't divorce.
I think Esti will stay with Hadassah for a few days and explain to Eli why.
Eli's mother will die so he doesn't have that pull (and Dina will take her parents' house and no she doesn't deserve it)
Eli will realise how lonely he is and appreciate Esti; he'll apologise and say he won't speak to his sisters anymore, Esti will come home and they agree to have marriage therapy. The End

What I would like to see as an ending, based off reality I see in families where one member has BPD, is where everyone stays in their position. Dina stays her very own complicated self. The sister is afraid to stand up to her so she stays wishy washy between Dina and Eli. The mother staying under Dina's thumb.
And Eli realizing that he can't change anyone. He needs to make a choice between his mother and sisters or choose Esti and his kids. He needs to choose Esti knowing that it might mean his mother never talking to him again. Esti will see the sacrafice he is willing to make. It will show her that he does value her. That will make all the difference to her. That's all she really needs. He will realize that he took her for granted till now and start appreciating her and building a connection with her.
I'd be happy if the story ended there because ultimately you can't change others, only yourself.

She had a conversation with her sister and had to do work so she went to her sister to work and her kids fell asleep there so she decided to spend the night and not go home.
Eli called at the end asking where she was and she told him she’s staying the night |
She just went to her sister to do some work, not necessarily to spend the night there.
I don't think she responded to her husbsnds text YET. Not in this chapter.
The nights not over yet... she can still go home.

I am appalled with Eli’s mother’s character. What kind of mother doesn’t listen to two sides, who are each equally her child? What a family of wimps. Esty is a regular person with her own ups and downs but the only normal one. She is lucky to have her sister Hadassah for support. It’s the only support the poor woman gets.
I really hate this story but I admit it’s the first thing I read when I open the Ami.

It’s getting boring and stupid at this point. I only scan the beginning and end. The middle is the same each week.

Wish you were right but have seen in some dysfunctional families that indeed it is the squeaky wheel bully who gets their way with the parent R”L
Like old dynamics fears emotional blackmail R”L
Narratives get twisted and convoluted and need intensive therapy usually to straighten it out and get healthy dynamics in place

Esti still does not know how to communicate with her husband, and he is even worse at communication. The 2 of them have never had a single pleasant conversation. They obviously both don't think very highly of each other.
Dena does know how to communicate, when it comes to her demands. And more demands.
And the mother is not attempting to communicate or understand at all. She's a puppet. allowing her daughter to tell her what she will do and who she will not talk to. No wonder her kids are all disfunctional.
