I went to the doctor for the baby and for parents' health history I spent 20min writing about my parents.

You know you're a first time mom when you don't realize that your child needs help.
You know you're a first time mom when you think that a baby who sticks to a schedule and doesn't do well when it gets messed up is a normal baby.
You know you're a first time mom when you don't understand how anyone could have a hard time nursing if they actually cared enough.*
You know you're a first time mom when you hire a private babysitter to watch your baby, or do a round robin of grandmothers and aunts to avoid daycare.
*LOL. But I did believe that. (I don't anymore, my second taught me otherwise.) BH I had a good nurser and gainer first, it taught me that I have enough milk and know how to nurse, and gave me the confidence to stick it out with the tough ones despite the naysayers.

I remember someone saying why are they up so late, and I was so insulted.

When the baby was crying in middle of the night I waited a min for my mother to come pick up the screaming kid when I realized WAIT. I’M THE MOTHER. |
Love this! Every time I sign something for my kids I startle a little

How old was your baby? My 12 week old (not quite 3 months) got a fever and we were sent to the hospital. They did a bunch of tests (poor baby needed a catheter for a urine sample) ,it turned out she had a UTI and we were in the hospital for a couple of days.

You think it is totally due to your amazing parenting that your child walks/talks early and take credit for it at all time
You attend every single PTA, mid morning 15 minute performances, get all school supplies at the beginning of the summer, always have a mitzva note prepped etc
And take endless photos

You spend way to long packing up your kids ten snacks, proper lunch, with a handwritten note
What's yours?

You run to the doctor foe every little thing.
If you see blood, you run to the hospital!

I thought the same until I trained them at 10 months, we were mostly home each evening and it was a game changer. They did all their daytime naps in the stroller so if we wanted to go to our in the evening I put them to sleep in the stroller and they stayed asleep whilst we had a fun trip.

I'm a very experienced mom and that is true. Not a FTM belief...

You refuse to listen to ppl who have experience
Your parents must always be wrong
And you won’t give your baby water
