Good for you! I'm impressed! Smile
I've fallen behind for a while and am catching up on Melachim now! I'm sure I'll catch up eventually, it may take some time, though.

Thank you! It was easier in the beginning because Yehoshua, Shoftim, Shmuel, and Melachim have a lot of stories. I'm finding Yeshayahu harder to listen to and I've lost some of my motivation. And once I start falling behind it seems to spiral so I fall further and further behind. I'm almost caught up now and I'm going to try to keep up going forward. Some of the shiurim I listened to today seemed incredibly apropos for today's world.

Kol hakavod to you for getting as far as you already have and hatzlacha on continuing!

Fasting has a long lasting impact on my physical and mental health. (A month or more) So I mostly don't fast.

Thank you, but bH I feel fine. I was actually speaking to a Rov about something else today and mentioned Covid fasting, but he saw no problem with it if I was happy to fast.

I fast every fast just as I have done since I turned 12. The only time I didn't fast was when I developed gestational diabetes and was under doctor's orders not to. Currently work very very intermittently, so not working today, but when I was employed F/T I was happy to be in the office when fasting. The office had very good central a/c, and it's way easier to fast when you're cold than when you're shvitzing in an airless box of an apartment.

I fasted until 11am, broke my fast because ob told me not to. Now I have headaches, back and neck aches. Ate two meals, loads of water, and electrolytes. Never had trouble fasting before. But I’m on pregnancy #7 so I guess my body changed. Any advice for recovery. I kinda want to go to ER for an IV but I feel like that’s too dramatic.

the joke goes:
women shouldn't fast because they're considered a choileh (sick)
if they're pregnant, they are a choileh
if they are nursing, they are a choileh
if they are not pregnant and not nursing, they are for sure considered a choileh

!!

just a joke
