You can't move to the Middle East and not be prepared for hot summers. Humid areas are much harder to live in, but by September everyone is just waiting for the air to cool down. Just be glad we live in an age of air conditioning.

It's hotter than Jerusalem and the Gush area. But as Elfrida said above, all of Israel is hot in the Summer. Beit Shemesh and Modiin are known for being hotter cities as well.

the price for 2 bedrooms is minimum 2M shekels at the moment
ETA: 2 bedrooms is called 3 rooms if looking on websites
