Your ID is useless, they’re not allowed to ask for it in NY. They ask your name or address, and then look you up.

My dh signature didn't match (he has a terrible handwriting) and they showed him his signature so he can match it. Very effective way to make sure there is no fraud. Show the person how you want them to sign.

there is definitely some fraud, on BOTH sides, but most people on BOTH sides are honest and vote once.
