Since we are not vegetable eaters I throw them away. The chicken, the day I make fresh I serve for dinner. The rest, I freeze portion wise and take out 1 bag for every shabs, along with a container soup.

Usually if I'm planning to freeze some I do it then, without any carrots or squash. I add that the last hour because I DON'T like them mushy, and if I take containers out of freezer I add fresh carrots. |
You cook the fresh carrots? How?
That's my only complaint about freezing soup. The carrots get soggy.
