im the "amother above"- I got a one year heter after my twins and was told to return if I need more time..I will definitely be returning to him when the year is up Smile

Every situation is different.

Isnt a heter based on how YOU are feeling physically, and mentally, and how you feel you can handle another child? why should this rav base his decision on when your husband finishes school? what does that have to do with anything?

Is there a possibility of you calling back and explaining that you feel you cant handle another child right now? Maybe he would extend your heter. sounds to me like this is the wrong rav to ask Sad
