Thanks for the long response! I appreciate it so much.
I switched docs by the way!
The other one was TOO awful!
Re: school...
I am in dilemma re: school before birth.
and
I am in dilemma re: school after birth.
I know I will not be able to work for first 5-6 months... realistically. And I do NOT want to be a supermom cuz I am not that energetic to start with.
So... what to do? Should I be fiscally responsible and postpone all... and cash in my student loans.
Should I study till birth?
How did u function during pregnancy?

I worked throughout the pregnancy in childcare up until about 34 weeks. Actually, I was stuck changing the diapers every day, because all the other chores that we rotated among the staff involved things like lifting and carrying the tables to other places, or stacking and unstacking cots for naptime, all stuff I couldn't due with my size, but for the diapers there was this little step the kids climbed up themselves onto the change table, so I was able to do that - I was a good sport about it, I said it was practice LOL. I prob could have gone longer than 34 weeks, but that was my planned date to stop working.
Other than nausea/vomiting/tiredness for the first 16 weeks, and a really sore rib from about 24 weeks til the end (which I have had with every following pregnancy, not just the twin one), I was really fine BH. I could have studied if I had wanted to. I was leading my normal life once I stopped with the vomiting, just bulkier and a bit more tired at times.
After they were born was a whole separate story...
Study and do what you can until the birth for sure, but after the birth, I would really put everything on hold. In the long run, if you study a year later, it won't make a difference, but you can never get back the time with your kids once it has passed.
Good luck with the dilemmas, hope you have clarity soon. feel good.

OP, I only read your first post, but wanted to just put things in perspective a little. I hope it just helps you see this huge bracha you've got. As I was reading through your post I was tihnking, hmm, this looks familiar.... but the scenario I was thinking of was a girl in Israel (so even the language barrier thing made me think it could be her) who was telling me about how they were so excited the doc had seen a sack, but then a few weeks later no growth. The stories started out MAMISH the same.
Just know that each and every little embryo, fetus, and child is an individual bracha from Hash-m, because He knows that you can handle it. Sure there will be challenges, but these are neshamos gifted especially to you and your husband. Care for them, keep them safe, and then raise them to grow and build their own lives. This is such a beautiful blessing.
Bshaa Tova.

Stay in touch with these commenters!! Start a loose-leaf notebook with sections: support people, docs, clothes, equipment, books, thoughts. Make a written list of these commenters' screen names, and also "friend" them here, they are the right people for you. Also, find a local rebbetzin you like, since your Mommy is not nearby. Her husband the rabbi will be useful to your DH; later on, if not right away. They will help your shalom beis in an ongoing way.
