I think this thread is exclusive to certain sects of chasidim.

We're boro park chasidish I send all my kids to chasidisha schools yeshivos dh and I went to chasidish moisdis these terms seem Hungarian or satmar viznitz skver style yidish...

We're more of polish drop Russian descendents we speak fluent yinglish at home

Eta, I I do say scallions, not יונגע צוויבל. But גרויליג, שוידערלעך & געדינסטע צוויבל are just regular everyday words. Ok, גרויליג is a pretty strong word, so no, I don’t have a need to say it every day LOL

and hopefully nothing שוידערלעך happens daily, because that would just be terrible.

I agree with you that is gadeensta. For the person who said it means maid, yeah it's spelled the same way.

Also how would you say the verb, for example you have to deenst the onion?
