Do you follow the latest trend?
I don't! I wear what I like when I like...period! Sometimes I like to be contrary and do the opposite  . If yellow is in, I'll wear blue for an example, not literally.

I do... inadvertently. Sometimes I will buy things or start wearing a certain color and my husband will comment how it's strange (he's more into fitting in than I am) and within a couple of months it will be all over. I must pick up on subtle changes in fashion subliminally because I am not that interested in it. On the other hands, there are a lot of trends that I notice that I don't look or feel good in so I won't wear them. I stick to what I know works for me.
Anon because it sounds egotistical even though it isn't.

It's so funny, two years ago I was teaching 13 year olds and they started commenting on how much brown I was wearing. I hadn't even noticed. I was just buying what looked good on me from my few favorite companies like Ralph Lauren (on sale) and the styles happened to have been brown.

If I like a trend, I'll follow it. But I don't buy something JUST BECAUSE it's trendy.

Nope. I like what I like and I like to think I know what suits me. But as la456 points out, sometimes you have no choice if you need to buy something and all they have in the stores is the latest trend.
