after getting a manicure? I didn't do any work, not even wash the dishes and I got a manicure on Thursday and it's already peeling. Well, it's kind of peeling, it like made a bubble and I peeled it off. I shouldn't wear nail polish Confused .

Thursday to Monday is pretty normal even without doing work. With work, it probably would have started ruining on shabbos.

Ha.

I've had ine done..walked home, gone upstairs, nd found a hunk gone.

The best thing is a "better" manicure; I think they call it crystal set powder. Costs more but mine lasts 3 full weeks, one time almost the whole month !

That sounds like my kinda manicure. I don't my local ones offer that. How much more $$ are we talking?

My normal manicure lasts a week, and after that starts chipping. And yes, I do work with my hands and without gloves. After two weeks, it's all messed up but I stretch it for at least 3 weeks anyway.

Haven't had one now in over two months though. Can't seem the find the time!

My sil touches up every day with clear and they last at least a week for her. I find it also helps to keep the same color at home in case you need to re-do a nail.

as soon as it starts to chip a tad I go over it with clear polish and it lasts.

The place I go in the Village is about $20. and they don't use those nasty nail drills, either.

I read somewhere that putting a coat of clear polish every day will help the polish last a week. I did that and it helped.

that also might make a huge thick layer which will come off in one big gunk.
