True or false, explain your answer. DH is on the sarcastic/witty side and occasionally he'll say something that he promises up & down & all over is FULLY a joke but it hurts my feelings cuz I feel there must be some truth behind it. Then I say this phrase and he believes it not to be true. What do you think? Just curious.

I believe that in every joke there is some truth if a person likes it or not. Why else would a person say comments jokingly.

I believe sarcasm isn't the best way to joke because it's usually has a bit of truth to it, which is why sarcasm usually puts people on the defensive.

Well...
I've had to learn to laugh at things.
At one point we made a list of all the awful things I've done........
One of our favorites is spilling mushroom barley soup all over the Pesach kitchen....

I believe that every joke has a little bit of truth in it. take for example the comedians where do you think they get all their jokes from out of the blue???
