I know, I went to a dr. and she wanted to give me antibiotics and asked if I could be pregnant. It was during my clean days. I said, well... I am newly married and my period is not due yet, so how would I know? We waited till I got my period to take it.

I once had to postpone surgery because the anesthesiologist refused to put me under after I gave a similar answer.

Huh? Why wouldn't you say "no"?  It's when you actually know that you're not pregnant. If the doctor asks if you're on bc, why can't you say, "I haven't had relations since I last had my period"?

What I'm hearing is that you ladies were asked if you could be pregnant while you were in shiva neki'im. So no, you weren't pregnant. Why didn't you just say so to the doctors?

No, I was asked that after mikva night (about a week after). So for all I know, I could have been pregnant and just didn't know it. Too early to test and wasn't expecting my period for a little over a week more.
