If my memory servces me correctly, there's something called Kosher salt that often comes in a big red box?
If that's what I'm talking about, I'm looking for the chicken recipe on the back. It's like a mixture of all these spices, and you rub it all over the chicken before baking.
If you can, please share the recipe as I'd like to try it. Thank you!

I just had dd bring me the box and mine doesn't have a chicken recipe on it. It has a beef something or other on it.

Roasted chicken?
I have 1/3 c. kosher salt
fresh ground black pepper
1 sprig fresh sage or rosemary
black pepper dressing (recipe for dressing underneath)
If this is it I'll type the dressing ingredients.

Is this what you're looking for?
Secret Spice Rub:
1/3 cup diamond crystal kosher salt
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
3 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground sage
1 teaspoon dry thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
2 teaspoons ground fennel
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon dry basil
2 tablespoons grandulated garlic or garlic power
Combine ingredients in jar. Seal and shake well. Apply generously to meat or poultry before cooking. Store up to three months.

You're welcome!
Nope, that's all it says. The recipe is for the rub, not the chicken. It does say the recipe is from "The Complete Meat Cookbook" by Bruce Aidells, and this is the website: www.aidells.com. Maybe you could find it there.

It's a huge box! I sent dh to grocery for me, and he came back with this instead of the smaller one... I needed it then, so I opened it right away instead of exchanging it. I guess it'll last me many many years to come
