I thought of buying a nice lotion or perfume for my sister in law that had a baby. I want to give her something that smells fantastic. any suggestions?

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I don't like receiving lotion as a present. It's generally something I don't like and I just add it to the collection of lotions that I give away.

I actually like it more than perfume because it is more subtle and usually has a calmer smell.

Bath & Body Works makes a great body CREAM - its thicker than lotion, not so greasy and can be used all over. warm vanilla sugar is a soft scent.... click here

Don't get me wrong, I also like the scent of lotion more than perfume and use it daily. However, I usually don't like the stuff that people buy for me.

I often get my stuff at Sabon. They're not cheap, but their quality is good and the scent lasts.

getting her something to pamper herself with is a nice idea, but before bying her anything scented, find out if she likes scented products. she could be allergic or have very specific tastes, or not like perfumes, period. plus, if she has a new baby, she may not want to be exposing him to artificial fragrances. from my experience, I rarely if ever like scented lotions or perfumes that I get as gifts.

I love those bodyshop little baskets with the bubbles and the bath bombs DH got me one of these baskets after I gave birth and watched the baby for a solid 1 hour and a half so I could take a luxurious bath maybe you can give her this ! It felt awesome .... philosophy lotion sold at sephora smells amazing.
or a nice set of lip gloss from sephora or new shabbos makeup ! would make my day any day.
Is so nice of you to think of giving her a present!
