Anyone know if you can still get pjs with feet? (I dont mean the blanket sleepers, I have those too but they're such a bother when you have to change a pamper or if the kids needs the bathroom) I'm looking for regular 2 piece pjs with feet and I cant find them anywhere. When I was a kid, winter pajamas always came with feet. Its so ridiculous, my kids always wake up with freezing toes. Why'd they stop making them??

have you tried ll bean? I don't know if they have them, but it seems like something they would sell. also lands end.

I found them at JC penny this year and I heard Dillards may have them too.

on a slight tangent, I find that my kids resist the feetie pjs....

But on a serious note, we had a great pair of pjs like that handed down among our kids - manufactured a loooong tome ago, maybe early 90s.

Some of our kids hate the feet on blanker sleepers. They make them also without feet.

Also, to save the blanket sleeper, you can cut off torn feet. shock

I got them once from either Lands End or LLBean, forget which.
Childrens place might have too.

But I will never get them again -- they are hard to fit properly, since they only fit the child when their legs are exactly the same length as the pjs --otherwise they are too short to be worn, or long and the feet drag because their real feet are up in the legs. Even if they fit when you buy them, they won't pretty soon.

Just get really warm socks -- how about those fleece slipper-socks with a non-slip bottom-- and tuck the pj leg in.

That's why it worked to hand them down in our family - each kid wore them when they fit exactly.

Stam, pants are a problem for my babies and toddlers - always too long when the waist fits. I prefer shorts or pants that stay folded when you fold them.

they dont work well for DS cuz he has short legs and a looooong torso so the pants come halfway up his chest and if u dont snap them then the shirt looks [crazy] - we have the same issue with blanket sleepers for DS

You know, my father goes out of his way to have my uncle's clothing tailored to fit nicely - my uncle has Down Syndrome.

Isramom8 I wasn't trying in any way ot offend your uncle - thats very sweeto f ur father to have his brothers clothes tailored for him - I was trying to say the PJ's look NOT RIGHT on my son bc of the shape of his body

actually for it to be twisted in such a way is pretty hurtful as I wasnt trying to say the wrong thing - sorry it hurt ur feelings but u hurt my feelings back by making such a comment

Carters makes this. I normally get them from the Carter's outlet but I can sometimes find it at Walmart.

I've always been put off when people call things or situations [crazy]. The word [crazy] should be used exclusively to refer to slow development. It is very insensitive to use it to mean crazy, or silly!

I searched online and managed to find 2 styles, but they only come till size 24 months. Would that fit a 2 year old?

Dress is a sensitive issue for those with special needs. Uncommon body shapes, or disfigure due to a handicap, can make people with disabilities feel even more separated from most people.

Once I saw a website that sold clothing especially made for people with typical Down Syndrome bodies, but when I looked for it again, it seemed to have disappeared.

Yes, you are right! I just got a bunch of these one piece sleepers for my son so that what was on my mind!
