I pay $45 in Lakewood. These prices are absurd!

Why do you think $45 is absurd?
Genuinely curious!

I do sheitel wash and sets and also charge $45. Most ppl don't have their Sheitel done more often than every 2 months for daily wear, more for Shabbos or simcha.
Make up artist are paid way more and usually for just one evening.
It's work and a skill to do a wash and set!!
A tutor charges average price $65 for 45 minutes, is that ok?

please give me names for baltimore shietel machers who are cheaper then! I assumed it was standard now, becasue I have been going to this lady for years and she has raised her prices

I use someone in the 5towns who charges me 35$ a wash and set and they come out great
I pay a little more if I want it picked up and dropped off which can be worth it since I’m a busy mother…

$30 Baltimore.

I think its crazy to be charging $50 and up for a regular wash. it take a half hour tops to do it.

why does every frum business model have to charge so much? its not just the shaitel machers. its the frum markup in general.
