I love the look.
Have you ever dressed your girls up as Madeline?
I can't really find any costumes online, so I'm thinking of having them sewn up.
I'm interested in hearing people's thoughts and suggestions
Thanks

I haven't but I think it's clever! Although will you dress up as the nun?

No Wink
I just think it's a pretty look.
I'll just have to ask my seamstress about it, because I'm not looking for something too complicated or expensive

my friend did!! it was BEYOND heaven!!! (she has a dog so that completed the look - she had professional pics done with her son who was pepito, her daughter who was madeline, and the dog was genevieve!!)
she had the costumes sewn. Not sure you can buy them...

My friend did.
She gave a cardboard box that included sourdough bread and little packets of butter and it said on it...
"We love our bread, we love our butter...but most of all we love each other..."

Can you access YouTube? There's a costuming vlogger who made adorable Madeline costumes for her daughters- I can find and link it if you want.

Very expensive, but here you go
https://www.amazon.com/Madelin.....r=8-3

You can also just do the hat set with a solid navy dress, and a collar

Yes, it's perfect, but way more than what I'm hoping to spend,
Thanks for taking the time to post, it might help me with sewing them up

What about this dress from temu, take off the white ribbon, and then use the hat set with the red scarf?

Between carpools did a post once

Does your dd know what it is?
Cuz if she is very young or if she reads the books, it is adorable, otherwise a bit random imho

Also found this costume for way cheaper, but its a very light blue, I would go with the temu dress over this, maybe make a shawl/cape to match

We did this many years ago!
We had a Madeline and a Pepito.
Madeline wore these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....psc=1 (She wore this raincoat all the time when it rained for the next year)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....;th=1 (She loved this hat and also wore it all the time for a year or two afterward)
