I don't want anything fancy, I want something she can stick in her fanny pack and not worry that it'll get too banged up or be too devastated if something does happen to it - I'm thinking $100 range, is that too hopeful?? But also I want something that will take good pictures. Definitely 10 years ago inexpensive and casual didn't mean bad quality but I don't know if that's still available - I see the type of canons that were popular when I was in school are now a lot more expensive (beyond inflation I think) and a lot of no-name Chinese junk has entered the market.
Must not have WiFi access or it won't be allowed in school/camp.
Anyone have a recommendation? I'm seeing a Kodak come up a lot in search results but I remember Kodak being a junkier brand in the past (great for film, meh for cameras), does anyone have the current cameras and can share if it's easy to get good pictures?
