I'm going to visit my daughter in seminary by myself. I haven't been there in 18 years and I really want to make the most of the visit. I'm looking for ideas of things to do that won't be too expensive.

Does her seminary take her on trips, or is it really just in/class learning? If she is predominantly classroom based or if she is seeing the country with school, may determine what you go to see.

Do you want her to take you to her favorites as your tour guide and proudly share what she has learned or so you want her to have different experiences?

Will you have a car or are you relying on public transportation?

Her seminary has been taking them on trips throughout the year. But that might be a good idea to have her take ME places. Although I'd love some ideas for places she hasn't gone too

If you're interested, Yad Vashem is somewhere she probably won't go with her seminary

Really don't recommend going without a frum tour guide.

She knows the county better than you do. ASK her if there is anywhere she wants to go that school is not taking them.
Ask her what kind of places she would like you to look into. She is 18/19, not 7.

Why would seminary not take them to Yad V’Shem?
Mine had an optional trip to Poland with J-Roots.

On our last visit there we went on the Chevron tour with Simcha Hochbaum (Hebron Fund). We enjoyed it immensely, and there was a seminary girl on our tour with her parents who seemed to have a great time as well. No car needed for the tour.

Following, as I’ll be visiting soon with my teenage daughter as well. Anything else like this, a group tour that is affordable? (As opposed to private tour guides)
This is perfect and would love more options like this.

Chevron with Simcha Hochbaum

Even if the seminary took them to Kever Rachel, it's meaningful to go together
There are busses from the tachana mercazit
