You might want to give a slightly better description of the type of school you want, aside from academics. Monsey schools can range from Chassidish to RW MO with every flavor in between.

What elementary school is your son coming from?

You are middle of the road, but which road?
Every single person out there considers themselves middle of the road, for whatever road they are on.

Regular litvish. Not modern. Not chassidish. For reference my girls are in BYCC. So pretty regular. Not yeshivish. I ended speaking to my son's Rebbe tonight and got another suggestion that I hope can work out iyh.

My son needs an out of the box school. I think I figured out where to apply. Now I'm just hoping he can get in.

Chofetz Chaim Monsey, is very warm and work with their talmidim. I know a few boys who are there, one is much stronger in learning and one is more average but they are both very happy. They have a very good English as well, I heard.
