I'm looking for a caterer for my son's bar mitzva bo bayom, I am from out of town but we are doing it in Brooklyn in my in laws small family shul. It doesn’t need to be super fancy, but being that I don’t live there I can’t DIY the brunch so I’m looking for somebody who does a practical and presentable job (affordable, does not have to be too fancy).
Can I get a caterer and they could just do the set up or I need a caterer and a planner?
I feel like it’s a waste to get a planner because it’s not going to be a big party. It’s literally going to be in a small room and just some food set up, but I still want it to look nice If that makes sense…

Am I assuming correctly then thatvyou want milchigs if thats the case order a bris package comes with everything waiter sets up and does basic clean up
Bagel hole, fruends or falsburg bagels

Considering this list, I would go with fallsburg. They're a bit more balabotish

In flatbush, you can also try presser's. We used them for a bris.

Does Fallsburg do a nice presentable setup? I looked on their website but I can’t see any pictures of events. Just trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks
