Use instead of eggs/oil in baking cookies, cake, cupcakes, muffins etc.

Toppings for latkes, french toast, pancakes, waffles

A dif flavor fruit leather?

Freeze in smaller batched.

I simmer some with any fruit or berry, then remove a few pieces of berry then blend it. My kids love it for dessert. Or frozen treats.

Here are 2 dessert recipes that use a lot of applesauce:

Applesauce pie cake
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
Pinch salt
2 ½ cups flour
1 jar applesauce
Preheat oven to 350.
Make crust and pat into 9x13 pan. Reserve some
dough for the topping
Pour applesauce into crust.
Sprinkle the remaining dough over the top.
Bake for 35 minutes.

Applesauce brownies
2 eggs
1½ cup sugar
½ cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons cocoa
2 cups applesauce
2 cups flour
1½ teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
6 oz. (1 bag) chocolate chips
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350.
Put everything in a bowl besides (walnuts and) chocolate chips.
Mix with a spoon by hand.
Pour into pan. Mix chocolate chips, walnuts and 1 Tablespoon of
sugar. Sprinkle over cake.
Bake for 50 minutes - 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

If you have little kids, serve it to them in bowls with spoons and sprinkle cinnamon on top as a healthy snack.

We can never have too much applesauce in the house...
