What helped?
What tools from your own childhood do you use now?

I remember being scared of the potch I don’t think I changed any behavior or learned anything because of it though.

Eventually I matured. I realized I can treat other people kindly and be treated that way back. (mostly. besides a few "star BY girls" who made me feel like dirt.) I wanted to grow up, to work on myself. I was a late bloomer w undiagnosed inattentive ADHD.

Having to sit outside the classroom again, then being able to see my mother crying in the principal’s office through the blinds.And finally being introduced to a warm resource room teacher. Change didn’t happen that minute but it was a catalyst for a 10 year old.
