Last year I was in Eretz Yisrael. I stayed one night at the Jerusalem Gate hotel. I remember going to a mikve on the side of a big building not far from Tachana Merkazit. It was a very old mikve but had the sweetest attendant from South Africa. I do remember that on one side of the big Shul that the Mikve was in it had a sign Kiryat Belz or something similar. I also remember a sign saying Ezras Torah was close by.It was uphill. Does any one know what mikve Im talking about? The attendant helped me out with something that night and I want to thank her.

It was next to a busy street, you went to the side of huge bais medrash/shul. In a basement. A very old mikve. Not renovated or anything at all.

The street is Minchas Yitzchok or the neighberhood? I remember it was a big Bais Medrash and this was on the side entrance to go to a basement. I would love to find the attendant. She did something so special for me that night.

Was the entrance behind a bunch of tall bushes? That is Zayis Raanan.
Minchas Yitzchok is the name of a street that also has a shul and Mikva.

Every Mikva I've been to in Yerushalayim has had the entrance behind tall bushes.

If zayis raana is renovated then it is not that and probably minchas yitzchok. Thank you for the lead.I remember three elderly women once I walked down the stairs to the basement. The mikve was in very poor condition.Thank You ladies for helping me figure this out. I would love love to get in touch with the person who helped me so much that night.

Not sure this will work. But is it this? |
Looks familiar though it was late at night and I wasnt sure where I was. IS this adjacent to a large shul? and the front side of the shul faces a street going up hill that said kiryat sanz or belz or something simmilar.

Maybe you went to zupnik mikvah? I went there once- had to walk behind a big shul/ building where men were the entire time. And yes I had to go down steps and the mikvah was in horrible condition. Its the one the meah shearim ladies use.
