I enjoy the ami very much but at this time we only get mishpacha. Because mostly it is appropriate for my 11 year old son and I really enjoy it. It's hard to keep track what he's reading although I really do keep an eye on him.

Jewish magazines just don’t do it for me. |
I used to get The Atlantic and New Yorker and although I really enjoy the articles I can't stomach their stance on Israel. I love Nat Geo though and would appreciate more recommendations. And yes, we do get Ami. It's a window into a different planet for us lol but makes for a few minutes of good shabbos morning reading.

That’s what I meant by “No, too expensive - I prioritize a different publication”
Whether it’s mishpacha, binah, or non-Jewish publications

I buy Ami every week. We get the Circle as a gift. Then I send both magazines to a friend when I am done. I enjoyed Ami during the pandemic, and I gave up Mishpacha because I thought that Ami was more interesting. My kids seem to like it too. I figure it’s money spent toward Oneg Shabbos.

My father actually buys me every week Ami, Mishpacha, and Binah. I like Ami the most! Binah literally has nothing to read and I heard that they are shutting down soon

It's not available as an e-mag. The articles are available to read but you sometimes have to scroll through the site to find them, and I remember searching for recipes and I couldn't find them. Maybe Family Table isn't online?

I buy the Binha my MIL gives me the Mishpacha and my sister gives me the Ami.
I found with the Ami I only read the Living and not the main one, so if my sister stops buying it I don't think I will start.

I buy Ami. My kids like the aim. I was looking at the prices of non Jewish magazines. They were the same price. But I get a lot more with Ami and mishpacha

Same, although I'd say their views on anything political have taken a turn for the crazy this last decade.
I don't buy Ami (why do so many people here call it "the Ami?"), Mishpacha, etc because I don't relate to the material they publish at all, plus I won't spend my money on a publication that refuses to print pictures of women.
We like the newspaper "Makor Rishon" and read that on Shabbat.

I prefer the mishpacha. I’m not spending so much that I’ll buy two magazines , so I just buy the mishpacha.
ETA: Alrhough I’m not impressed by Ami, if someone passes down the Aim to us , my kids and I are happy. Aim is very well done.

To my knowledge only international customers can have free access and I'm assuming where the magazine isn't distributed
