Just the opposite it's the stores pressuring the brands for the new stuff as soon as possible. Basically if the store puts out the summer stuff in April they have 4 weeks to sell it at full price. Most stores already have some sort of discount before shavous. If they get the new merchandise in January they get 3 full months to sell it with their full markup. Thing is the stores underbuy so they shouldn't be left with stock. So if I see something I like I better buy it now or it will be sold out within a week or 2
