I generally use AI chat to find out interesting info. So much easier and it does the search work for you.
Last interesting thing I asked AI was:
Where do hamsters come from |
AI is not accurate and mixes together all kinds of sources.

I hear your point that if it was A controversial subject like something about politics, alternative medicine or religious beliefs, I probably would wisely choose which sources I get my information from.
And just by the way, Google searches generates loads of websites that are biased opinion.
Most subjects I am researching that I am using AI for are generally very Fact-Based. For example, where do hamsters come from, The answer is factual like you can't really argue the fact where they come from. If I am afraid that AI would tell me The place that hamsters came from is a controversial answer, then I can further ask Ai are there other opinions where the hamsters might be coming from.

The way AI works is that it gathers information from places all over the internet. So if some genius writes on his blog that hamsters hatch from eggs, and a bunch of other people decide that it's the coolest fact ever and post it on their "ten things you didn't know about hamsters," AI will pick that up and tell you that hamsters lay eggs.
It is absolutely not a source for fact-based research.
Yes, Google will direct you to those same websites, but that's why you need to know if you can trust "ReallyTrueFactsByAaron" vs. the Smithsonian website. AI doesn't necessarily differentiate between those sources.

I once went down the wormhole of researching nuclear weapons capabilities. Likelihood of nuclear world war. And how to survive.
So much knowledge. So much time wasted.

If you look at the search results, you can find results from legitimate sources, and they usually contradict the google AI answer.

I google lots of random things
But I’m actually surprised at the searches about our history. Did nobody learn any of this in school??
We learned that although Kayin, Hevel, and Shias are the three children specifically mentioned, adam and chava definitely had more children, including girls.
This is not the kind of thing I’d use Google for, as it’s influenced by the christian bible.
Basic Chumash has all the answers. We learned so much of this in Jewish History class

Peersupport wrote: | From my recent search history.
Who did Adam and Eve’s children marry, and how many children did they have?
According to the Bible, Adam and Eve had three named children: Cain, Abel, and Seth; however, the text also mentions that they had "other sons and daughters," meaning they likely had more children beyond these three named ones.
Key points about Adam and Eve's children:
Named children: Cain, Abel, and Seth
Source: The Book of Genesis
Implication of "other sons and daughters": The Bible suggests Adam and Eve had more children than just the three named ones.
According to the Book of Jubilees, Cain married Awan, and Abel married her sister Azura. After Abel was murdered, Azura married Seth.
Here's some more information about Cain, Abel, and Seth:
Cain's wife
Some say that Cain married his sister or a close relative, like a niece. Others say that Cain's wife was Aclima, the daughter of Adam and Eve.
Abel's wife
According to the Midrash, Abel's promised wife was Aclima, who was more beautiful than Awan, Cain's promised wife.
Seth's wife
According to the Bible, Seth married his sister, Azura, who was four years younger than he was. |
I always wondered this.
