I've been with Verizon for years for both Wifi and Cell Phone and I'm fed up with their high prices and awful service for both. People are always telling me to switch to Optimum (for Wifi) (even the guy in the Verizon store told me he has Optimum LOL!) and US Mobile for cell phones.

Practically speaking I have no idea how to do either of these (sounds dumb, I know). Should I just google and call them? Is there a better way to accomplish this smoothly? My past experience of getting off Verizon anything (I used to have a second home phone line) has been terrible - they delay you and don't do what they are supposed to.....

Any advice is appreciated!
