I hope not! We barely have any space left on the seforim shelf as it is.

I didn't remember writing this. But then I noticed it's you, not me. I'm having an identity crisis.
Excerpt from the fifth Shulchan Aruch:
Check the screen name before assuming anything.

Yes, common sense is referred to as the the fifth volume of the Shulchan Aruch.
Most people have it missing from their bookshelves.
Almost as many have it missing from their lives.

What makes you think that?

Most of the posters here have common sense. Naturally, there are posts that I disagree with. There are even some posts that I disagree very strongly with. That doesn't mean that the posters don't have common sense.

"Common sense is not all that common"
I have found this quote to be incredibly true. (including myself and I consider myself an intelligent individual)

The more important component to this is ‘seichel hayashar’ and the ability to discern its gentle accent in the jumble of thoughts and voices in our minds.

You think that most people don't have common sense? How have you come to that conclusion?

That is very true. All except the hot coffee lawsuit. The coffee caused severe burns and in discovery they found out that McDonald’s knew their coffee was too hot, but decided that they would prefer to deal with potential lawsuits rather than the hassle of changing the temperature of their coffee. McDonald’s loves when people use their lawsuit as proof of frivolous sue culture in the US, as opposed to callous disregard for public safety that caused over 700 burns, and this particular elderly woman to need skin grafts.

Oh. That's totally true. I remember reading how it was way more complicated than the media made it out to be. I forgot that was part of the obituary. Although... The Lady only wanted McDonald's to cover the medical bills. McDonald's said no and hoped it would go away like many other complaints her lawyer used all those complaints in the law suite... So maybe McDonald's lost their coming sense by ignoring a problem till it hit the fan.
