Anybody still have this past week's Hamodia magazine? There was a brownie with mint on top recipe and I (stupidly) threw out my magazine and I really need that recipe... I would really really appreciate if anyone who has it could post it.

Kmommy, I don't get the hamodia magazine so I didn't see the recipe you are referring to.
I do have my own recipe for brownies with mint frosting and then a chocolate topping on top of that. It sounds similar to the one in the magazine. Do you want the recipe?

I was suspecting that I missed an issue I was wondering if I did or due to all the yom-tov-shabbos schedule they didn't send it. Oish...

Sorry, I didn't see this until now.
Creme de mint squares
1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan. Mix above ingredients, pour into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Creme:
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 stick margarine
4 tsp. peppermint extract (or less, to taste)
2-4 drops of green food coloring, just enough to make the creme a minty green
Chocolate Topping:
1 cup chocolate chips
6 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
Melt topping ingredients in a double boiler.
Spread creme onto brownies, and spread chocolate topping on top of that.
