Op did nothing wrong.
She had a reaction to a teenager who was acting cruel.
Taking care of a child's physical problem may have taken the kochos out of her
She came here for emotial support.
I am not surprised that some of the posters are borderline cruel. Its typical behaviot on this site.

I do not believe that accusing mean posters are not their imamother version in real life. People with no compassion. They only dole it to those that are in their deserve bracket.

Didn't read the responses, just wanted to say, this is an internet thing, not an ImaMother thing.

My 1.5 YO likes to chew on crayons, so I Googled "toddler chewing on crayons", and came across a Quora where someone asked "is it okay that my toddler eats crayons"?

One of the responses LITERALLY was "Are you the worst parent in the whole world?"!

Welcome to people being Aholes online.

I just want to add some food for thought to those saying the mom did nothing wrong by talking to her daughter like that.
If a women were to post here that her husband yelled at her "I want to slap you in the face & punch you", everyone would be saying what an abusive jerk the husband is.....
Just think about it. About what type of reactions that women would be getting....

Several posters said that mom did nothing wrong & are defending her actions.
And the point of this thread is to make fun of those that were shocked at what mom had said to the daughter & to make it seem like it's not that big of a deal.
If someone would post that their husband said that to them, the husband would be called terrible things & wouldn't get the same grace as mom here is getting.

Where you the one who mentioned periods?

I thought that was hilarious and didn't even think for one second you were serious.

Anyone with a teenager knew you were joking.

Yup. That was me πŸ˜€

Welcome to people being Aholes online.

I had a student last year who would eat crayons for attention. I told everyone to ignore it, they're non toxic and he'll be fine. I told mom she wasn't concerned either. He kept eating them (a piece here and there) and I finally told him to stop because he was eating my supplies πŸ˜† 🀣 crayons is the least of our worries. It's not food but you won't die
