I collected from my students an assignment that was done in class. 1 paper doesn't have a name and has extreme chutzpah on it. What would you do?

Process of elimination to figure out who it was.
What age is the student and what a do you consider chutzpah?
E.g. if a third grader writes, "I hate you," it's different than an 11th grader doing the same thing.
You should try to find out if the student is going through something personal at home. Speak to the principal.

High school student.
She didn't like that they had an assignment on Chanukah instead of playing a game.

Did she do the assignment? I'd grade her assignment and then deduct a nice amount of points for her "additional comments" and then write something like כל המוסיף גורע. I wouldn’t confront her.
But maybe discuss with your principal first so you have her support.

PS; I don't agree with the Chutzpa but I do think that Chanuka should be treated a bit like YT and they shouldn't have tests or hw that week

And I called it an it an assignment for lack of a better word. it was really something that I would've enjoyed as a student.

Thanks for explaining. I think giving a consequence without a confrontation is the best way cause she'll get the message that it's not ok without blowing it up.
When I taught high school I told my class that 80% of their grade is their marks and 20% is behavior. It mostly worked to their benefit, but it give me leeway for consequences.
