We tried others and they did not follow protocol in training they claim to have. Please do your research because the wrong "professional' can cause more harm than good

Thanks for the recommendation. I don't drive so it's hard for me to do something our of Brooklyn but if it would be once a week or something I might be able to. I will speak with Relief, good idea. I agree that the wrong professional causes more harm than good.

Fast forward many years. He's 20 now. He's still a picky eater, but bh willing to try new foods and eats a decent amount. He still is sensitive to some smells and textures, but as long as he's eating a normal array of foods, I am not too worried.

Wow this is something to consider, and thank you for sharing. This also gives me hope.

It does not officially have a hechsher but a rav who is an expert in vitamins and kashrus told us that it's OK.

But I don't know if you can get it in the US. It's available in the UK.

I pick up my child and the morah is always judgmental about dc not eating. I tried explaining to her that this is a little more than being picky but she doesn't have patience. I don't think she believes me. DC looks regular size for the age but because we as parents are on the taller size we know it's affecting the growth too, that's why I am also concerned.
On the other hand, I got a little victory today and got dc to eat a sandwich after school!

We got a to family member who is suffering from malnutrition on Kate farms. Are you in Boro Park? We got all 3 flavors. I can give you one of each if you want to see if your child will like it. My family member seem to like the vanilla best but it's an adult.

We also used an ice cream machine and turned it into ice cream.

Yeah but a taxi price to NJ is pretty steep, I can't really afford that. If you have recommendations for Brooklyn I would love to hear! I agree it's a need and I wouldn't want to go to just anyone.

Not really, has pretty good eye contact and theory of mind. DC actually is very good in predicting other people's reaction, kind of the opposite of ASD know that I think of it.

My 4yo child is a selective eater. We are still on the journey.

I found that agape from awaken helped. It’s an expensive vitamin and mineral combo that is easily absorbed by the body.
I mix it with grape juice or orange juice, add a fancy straw
