For extended family, about 40 adults and 30 kids (ages 1-16)
Everyone will be making a main, side dish or salad.
I have so far:
4 salads
2 potato type sides
6 9x13 of chickens (sesame, poppers, Shnitzel etc)
2 9x13 of pepper steak

Is this enough? Some cousins asked what else they can do so trying to figure out if we need more food

If you're getting more offers, I'd suggest a cooked vegetable.

Maybe another pepper steak.

And dessert?

Or will you just serve ice cream?

When you say six 9x13 of chicken, how many lbs of raw chicken are being used per pan?

I’m not sure, as a few relatives are all making it
We did discuss to make sure they are full 9x13 pans l, not halfway

Maybe have the cousins bring sprinkles, but crunch, fruit and other toppings for the ice cream?

Thanks for all the ideas!
Do we have enough food for the main dishes?

What about rice which goes with the pepper steak and chickens? How many servings does each 9x13 feed? How old are the kids? Do they need full servings? You have 8 mains for almost 70 people?

I had 10 people (all adults except 1) last night and we had 1 tray each of meat and chicken, rice, noodles, latkes, 2 trays of veg. Plus some meat boreaka things and sushi.

We had lots of leftovers.

You have 70 people, (65 people if you count each kid as half an adult) so approx 1 tray per every 10 people. Hmmm, not sure, maybe a couple more meat dishes would work. Can be something easy like hotdogs for kids. If you start off the meal with a starter eg, salad, bread or latkes and dips you will need less meat.

I would do a tray of rice (maybe plain for picky kids) and either a big salad or some cooked veggies.

Would do another side like a rice with veggies in or pasta style
Sounds great!
