I'm in my 40s and I have a dark green everyday winter coat and a grey Shabbos coat. It makes it much easier to find my coat on a coat rack!
I say go for the color that makes you happy.

Op I’ll vote take the teal coat because I’m selfish and I’m bored of sitting in a waiting room seeing a bunch of frum women sitting there looking like identical nonutuplets.
