I’ve asked around a bit in Lakewood and the typical range seems to be 50-150, with some giving more or less but that being typical range

Moved oot. The norm here is $50 so I gave $52. I was going to shell out 100 - were tight now-but even the wealthy in the class said that’s crazy.

I’m relieved.

$20.

I have 6 Rebbeim, 6 boys English teachers, 2 morahs, 2 English teachers, 2 assistants

Add that all up and even $20 is pushing it.

My brother is a Rebbi in Lakewood (mainstream place) and he says average is $75-$180 with a few under and over.
Im sorry. I can't.

I gave 200$
Usually give 100$ because would give to rebbe and to his tutor rebbe 100$ also but my son has good rebbe this year. Give whatever you can afford don't feel pressured or feel bad by these responses

My son’s rebbe gets a lot, but I have a bunch of daughters and one son. His learning means a lot to my DH.

Most of my kids classes collected and put the money together. They suggested $50 per child, whether one full time Rebbie, two half day Morahs…

We’re struggling now and gave $20-30 per child. $10 per teacher, $5 for assistants
