For my child? She has gotten him so far on his speech journey. Wondering if I should be tipping? Or bc it’s private pay I don’t? We’ve been with her about a year

My rule of thumb is I don't tip anyone who I pay cash to directly,- like a private therapist, babysitter, playgroup morah etc
If I really wanted to give something it would be some nice chocolates or a diffuser kind of gift

SLP here...was just discussing this with a few colleagues today. The general consensus is that we are paid well, and while we definitely appreciate a note, tips are totally not necessary.
