Yes, I’ve traveled a lot and had no issue with mine. The only time they said no was when I also had a carry-on and there was no room.

Soo sounds like I should skip the doona, do my best to bring my travel stroller on the plane just in case they're dysfunctional, and make sure to bring one of my baby carriers (gotta spend some time in each before the trip and see which one feels better).

Do you guys think it's possible to get a carryon on the plane with me too? Not that I need it for the plane but for my long stopover, hard to imagine I can fit everything I will need for myself and the baby in just the diaper bag. Although I guess I can try. Wheeling around the stroller plus carryon will also be a pain probably, maybe worth it to avoid when I think about all that...On the other hand, let's say I have to check the stroller for some reason and they are indeed dysfunctional and I don't get my stroller on the stopover. I would much much rather have a wheely something with me so I can strap the diaper bag to that so that I'm not walking around the entire airport with a baby on my front and a giant diaper bag on my back in a sleep-deprived state just waiting to fall over if my baby sneezes too hard.
