For those whose schools send out forms where you click on the names of teachers and then click on a dollar amount to give as collective gift/tip to teachers.... are other staff included? Most of my children's schools only ask for the teachers. Sometimes there will be an option to also gift "administrative support staff" which I think is nice.
One school though has included separately every secretary, every administrator in the office, including principal, as well as custodial staff and security staff. Each one by name rather than under a general umbrella of "support staff". And there is a $15 minimum per name. This seems rather obnoxious. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this.

That's weird.
I only give actual teachers. I can't afford more.

My school has an option for support staff where you give approximately the same amount as per classroom teacher but it gets divided across the whole school's secretaries, permanent subs, librarian, etc. I think with the majority of the school participating and then divided by the amount of staff, this should result in each person getting a reasonable gift.

For the school that's asking $15 per person, if you have the bandwidth I'd consider getting a large platter of cookies or something and giving it to the main office with a card addressed to the whole support staff. Most of the relevant people will see it there and yet your message and you'll spend more like $25 in total.
