What’s the best neighborhood to stay for a visit to London near kosher food and a shul (would probably fit best in a MO shul but open to other options) but also close to the touristy places and theaters we’d want to visit? Would probably need an airbnb for kitchen needs but also open to a hotel. 6 ppl. Hoping to find something on the nicer side. TIA!

Hendon.
Great public transport links to the city centre.
Golders green will also be good, they're very close to each other.

I second Hendon or Golders Green. One leads into the other and there are so many restaurants, bakeries, and kosher shops of every type in both with good transport links.

I like golders greens food options better than hendon. But either would be fine if looking for a airbnb. They're not close to the touristy areas but you can take the tube in for a direct ride that's not too long.

There is a kosher dairy restaurant and a meat one in the West End now. Both are very good, and it is much closer to the tourist attractions than Golders Green and Hendon. The traffic in the morning if you are not taking the Tube can be 45+ minutes.

The dairy one is Reubens, and it is very good. If the meat one you're referring to is Island Grill, that's extremely pricey! Golders Green is a much better bet as a base.
