Long story but my four year old is obsessed with CD players. And chargers. He decided that’s what he wants for his Chanukah present. It’s all he’ll talk about. He’s not neurotypical… I’m looking for something that is not battery operated but has either a charger or is corded that is similar to a cd player and has some type of music on it. Something he’ll hopefully be ok with but not an actual cd player as after 3 months of schlepping our around and ruining multiple cds (which we don’t need anymore as all our musical is digital now) he broke. Until that point he had it figured out and really used it. He also loves music. Links would be appreciated. Thank you in helping me figure this out!

Thank you! This is an actual cd player, which is his dream… but really not age appropriate for a four year old I think? He kept dropping the old one till it broke beyond repair. And he’ll ruin the cds (tho in theory we don’t use them anymore but just feel like it’s a waste…) is there something similar enough but more for a toddler? Who is obsessed with music and cords and cd players?

Look at the links I posted he will love it! You can buy blank cards and put any mp3 files you want on them.
Edit- I don’t think my post went through! Here-

We have a Bluetooth speaker that takes a usb or micro sd full of music and needs to be charged every so often. Do you want me to find the link?

I have the jooki but there's no cord
It's more cost effective than yoto if you're only getting blank yoto cards

Buy a pack of the blank MYO (make your own) cards, they’re like blank CDs, you create playlists of any music or stories you want in the Yoto app, and then link them to cards (a lot easier than it sounds). You can easily switch the content on the cards as often as you’d like. You can make labels for the cards if you’d like but you don’t have to.
You do need WiFi for the initial set up.
Edit- let me know if you want a code for 10% off.
