We have so many teachers this year, and appreciate all of them but we’re struggling paying for everything . My budget is as affordable as possible
Is $10 too little thinking is a nice chocolate bar or something from the candy store nicer?

I think teachers would prefer the cash.

I think rather send the money. Make sure to include a note.

I would prefer the cash if I were receiving it.

Cash is best. Write a little personal note and viola. Very appreciative

I sometimes give a small gift in that price range such as a plant or an umbrella or silver customs jewelry or diffuser.

Candy or chocolates make a better impression than $10.
But if I was the receiver, I'd want the cash.

I’d give a nice little box of gourmet chocolates and a note.

I always get a gift in the price range, because I feel that (though It's always nice to receive money), $10 feels too little to give.
This year I gave a beautiful watch, between $10-20.
It's beautiful, showy, useful.

I've given $10 in the past. With a note.
I did feel a bit awkward, but nu, nu.
The teacher knows I'm appreciating her, and is hopefully assuming that the small amount reflects my financial status, not my appreciation level.

I got $11 gifts. If I was the receiver I’d prefer the money but I felt funny giving it. I hope they understand
