I didn't insist. I understood that if they could pay the teachers they would. I only called to find out if they could give us something, a partial payment. I understand that at times schools can't make payroll because they aren't going to pay some teachers and not all. But they could perhaps find a way to divert some funds when there is a pressing need.

I was only saying that IF my landlord would have insisted that I pay my debt while denying that his failure to pay HIS debt is directly affecting my ability to pay my debt- that would take a special kind of hypocrite.
