I really do not want to give 4 year old child the flu vaccine but
It’s mandatory. The nasal mist, yes I know it’s the live virus but regarding heavy metals and toxins is it safer?

My pediatrician understands that I don't want the vaccination and am only doing it for the school requirement, and therefore don't care about effectiveness. In fact, I tell my pediatrician that my child will not be inhaling and will be blowing their nose as soon as it's administered and they are ok with that.
(Neither of us are "anti vax" in general)

It's a pig derived product, not real pork, and isn't generally considered edible. Everyone can consult with their own Rav about potential kashrut issues, but I know many chareidi families in Jerusalem who have no problem with using it.
