It's very easy to make.
Canned is a little watery.
You could sweeten it just right.
If you get a cannister, you could spray it out the same.
I think 38% cream gets very thick using a hand mixer in a couple minutes. I just spoon it onto whatever I'm topping.

Not really, though you can whip it on YT (not Shabbos) by hand. It'll start to weep if you make it too far ahead. There are methods for stabilizing it with the addition of cornstarch or other ingredients, and sugar is at least somewhat stabilizing. I find it troublesome to stabilize it enough for Shabbos lunch, so it's usually a YT treat by us. (We always do at least one dairy meal.)

Any hand mixer with a decent motor. I burned out a cheapo one.
There is also a canister to buy that you use a little gas cartridge. They use them at dairy restaurants.
