Down coat gets easily dirty!

Baby vomit and drool
Dirt or dust from any surface outside
Mud from stair railings outside or house gates that my coat just touch
Water stains from rain
Snow

I try baby wipes. Except they leave a mark where I wiped. I constantly have to wash it. It's so annoying to deal with. Is there anything to do??

PLEASE KEEP TO THE POINT.

Once coat is clean give it a water and dirt repellant spray intended for textiles. Let dry and repeat.

Oh, I didn't think of that! Which spray is best for this?

Why are you feeding baby when wearing a coat?

My best rule for keeping my coat and my kids coats clean is to take them
Off. There’s definitely no eating in a coat. And anytime I have to drape on a chair I do it sort of inside out so if anything happens the inside of the coat gets dirty not the outside

That is not the point of my post.
But to appease every single imamother nitpicker here goes. My baby vomits and is at the endless drooling stage. Ok? It's a stomach issue that is being addressed. I do NOT feed my baby in my coat. Yes once there was a little hole and baby food went all over the front.

Calm down, she was making fun of imamother, not of you.

I have no experience which brand is best.
Once in a while you need to reapply.

Yeah, sure. Ok. It's still disgusting though. If she wanted to make fun then she should've posted somewhere else. Not on my post where I am asking an innocent question! I am sorry, but I am extremely upset. This literally isn't funny to me.

my point was that I too have a down coat. but mine never gets dirty and I wash it once per season max. I was letting you know how I keep mine clean (which is as valuable as telling you how to clean it)

So wash your coat often. Your baby is worth it.
Why are you asking? You don’t like any answers.

The reason why I asked for advice was because I got three sizes bigger from all the stresses in my life so I had to buy a new coat. I had shiny and matte down coats in the past but this coat literally attracts everything. I tried spraying it down once with water and soap and immediately drying it with a clean cloth but it left wipe marks all over. I truly hate this thing so I was just looking for solutions and to see if anyone can possibly help me have this coat last a little bit longer without washes. I had to wash it 4x so far. This is what I have. https://a.co/d/bjdJS77

I'm only keeping it because it currently fits me and I can't afford a new coat right now at my size and budget.

As you can see the first answer was truely helpful. And amothers too although I do that already but I really dislike it because of the material.
