He used to wake up at midnight. We gave him a bottle and he slept through the rest of the night. Lately he's been crying at 11 and every 2-3 hours after that. He also started waking up at 9am instead of his usual 7:30/8 (probably because hes exhausted from waking up so often)

I'm at my wits end, It's killing the little sleep I do manage to get. HELP 😭

A 2 yr old doesn't just start waking every 2-3 hrs unless something is bothering him.
Did you check for pinworms? Strep? Ear infection? Is he too hot/cold at night?

I didnt check for pinworms strep or ear infection, but I dont think its that. He talks full sentences so he can tell me whats bothering him, and it sounds like he has some sort of separation anxiety. He tries getting me to take him out of his crib and taking him into my bed using every tactic possible. I need to bribe him with mitzvah notes and treats for the next day for him to stay in his crib.

I can technically take him to the dr to get him checked out, but I usually know when my kid isnt feeling well....

At this age it’s about setting boundaries and having a very clear response that he can predict each time he wakes up. You can do that on your own or hire a sleep consultant to help you make and implement a plan.

Nightmares?
They usually start at that age.
I had a kid in my playgroup years ago that got nightmares from the Chanukah story! He was very smart.

He is also an extremely bright child so it's very possible. Didnt think of that
